Mazoué, James

  • Dr. James Mazoué is Director of the Office of Online Programs at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. His office manages online faculty development and learning technology services and support, strategic planning for the University’s online certificate and degree programs, online course and program development, and the implementation of policies on the application and evaluation of effective teaching and learning practices. An educator who has taught at the college-level for over 35 years, he has served on the Virginia State Council of Higher Education’s Learning Technology Advisory Committee, is a past Chair of the Electronic Campus of Virginia, and is a regular contributor at national higher education policy organizations. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Tulane University in 1983 and has taught extensively online.
